Only 20 minutes from Fulton, the University of Missouri is blessed
with a broad range of specialized facilities in the plant and animal sciences,
human health, engineering and other fields. The University’s world-class
research is supported by a new $60 million Life Sciences Center featuring 50
interdisciplinary laboratories that will attract more investigators and emerging
businesses to mid-Missouri. The Center’s researchers generate fundamental
knowledge and tackle complex problems facing plant, animal and human health.
This means the people and programs are in place to help companies solve technical
problems and build the R&D or technology commercialization collaboration
they need to be successful.
