ABOUT
FADC
The Fulton
Area Development Corporation (FADC) works with both existing
and potential businesses to give Fulton and Callaway County a healthy
economic climate.
The increasing emphasis in expanding markets and the addition
of new technologies has made the recruitment of new industries a top priority.
Constant efforts are made to maintain Callaway County's current economic
base, while also developing a broader range of employment opportunities
for our citizens.
The
FADC is the business development resource in Callaway County. The Corporation
actively supports current businesses in achieving their economic potential,
creatively markets the area to potential new industries, and is a dynamic
advocate for the entire business community.
MISSION
The Fulton Area Development Corporation is an independent, not for profit
organization established by civic leaders in 1991 to promote the prosperity,
economic betterment and general welfare of Callaway County.
The FADC assists both new and existing businesses take
advantage of municipal, county, state and federal assistance programs
and maintains a comprehensive inventory of available sites and buildings.
GOALS
- Promote the
Fulton Area as a desireable place to live and work.
- Recruit new and
expanding industry to Fulton and Callaway County.
- Target appropriate
business and industry in recruiting activities.
- Maintain
a close business relationship with Fulton and Callaway County.
- Create a
professional economic development organization that serves as a resource
center to address the needs of businesses and industries in the area.
- Develop cooperative
efforts among local financial resources.
- Enhance workforce
development and training.
